Civil War Tour
Using the map, drawn by hand in 1861 by a Federal Captain of occupying troops in Paducah, you should get a strong feeling of the important role the city played during the Civil War.

Paducah's downtown has a wealth of Victorian and Classical Revival architecture constructed between 1870 and 1930.

Upper Town was known as an African-American business district, and was home to many of Paducah's African-American citizens.
